Who Am I
I’m Barbara O’Reilly, AKA Babs, AKA Patchwork Cactus – a blogger, a writer, an obsessive media consumer and an Instagram addicted photo-taker.
Although I’m a journalist by trade, the three-week-old baby stowed away under my graduation gown steered me away from the world of reporting and right into the blogosphere.
My family and I live in a beautiful beachside suburb on the east coast of Australia, we have just completed our dream home renovation and I freelance as a content creator, journalist and professional organiser.
