Milo Bliss Balls Recipe

March 19, 2019

Milo Balls Recipe

Hello people, I just thought I would pop in to share my Milo Bliss Balls Recipe here – it was a bit of a hit on the old gram so I figured you were interested.

I don’t know where I got this one from, I remember making something similar years ago but with cocoa, not Milo. At some point a few months ago, when I was looking at a leftover tin of condensed milk from Christmas I decided to give it a whack.

Recipes with round numbers are so much easier to remember so 10 Weet-Bix and one cup of all the other ingredients seemed to be the way to go. And surprisingly this ratio worked fine. You could easily mix it up though, it really is very forgiving.

The best part about this recipe is, my kids know how to make milo balls from start to finish without my help. Pretty cool right?

As I was writing this I gave ‘Milo Bliss Balls Recipe’ a quick google and found a few other bloggers that had similar recipes on their sites – Create Make Bake has one that uses biscuits instead of Weet-bix and is a little less sweet than this one, you can check it out here.

Anyway, enjoy. And also, thanks to Pinch Me Beautiful for lending me her kids. Recipe below.

How to make milo balls

Ingredients

  • 10 Weet-Bix (blended)
  • 1 cup of desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup of Milo
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • sprinkles for rolling
  • extra desiccated Coconut for rolling

Instructions

Combine the Weet-Bix, coconut, Milo and Condensed milk in a big bowl and stir until it's a consistent texture. Spoon out chunks, about the size of a dessert spoon, and have the kids roll them into balls. Now roll the balls in coconut or sprinkles and repeat. Pop them in the fridge and eat them cold. They also freeze really well and can be eaten straight out of the freezer.

I couldn't tell you how long they will last, because they have never lasted long in our house.
