Designer tea towels – seriously affordable art

October 23, 2014

Who wants really cool art for your walls? Who didn’t win the lotto this week? Me too! Here are some frame-able, affordable tea towels for your viewing pleasure. Happy days! xoxoxoxo

Designer Tea towles - affordable art - by atchwork Cactus
Hi guys, I have been thinking about affordable art for the kids’ room and as much as I love prints (seriously I need to stop buying them) you can’t go past something with a bit of texture.

Last week, whilst cruising the Gorman store, perving on things with lobsters on them and wishing I could afford them, I found myself in the Sale section (shock horror) staring at a really cool tea towel that I thought would look super rad in a frame. Then it got me thinking; there are heaps of great artists and brands that make affordable tea towels and they may just be the answer to my texture-driven-desires for wall art.

So here are a list of totally frame-able tea towels for your day. Hope it’s a good one.

1) Snap $19 for 2 by Gorman, 2) Black Cross $22 by Dishrag, 3) Feathered Fox $24 by Laura Blythman, 4) Jump $22 by Dishrag, 5) Las Sadinias $35 by Santiago Sunbird, 6) Wolf $25 by Nord 7) Winter Woodland $24 by The Club of Odd Volumes, 8) Foxy Folk 2 for $40 by Laikonik.

xoxo Babs
