DIY Strawberry Foot Scrub Recipe

September 12, 2018

DIY Strawberry Foot Scrub

I have a lot of strawberries in the house but apparently, they may or may not have sewing needles in them, so there’s that. I figure I should make a DIY strawberry foot scrub recipe instead.

You may or may not know that Strawberries aren’t just good eatings, they are full of all sorts of antioxidants, minerals, oils and vitamins that are great for refreshing your skin. They can get rid of dead skin cells and lighten dark spots, plus they smell awesome.

DIY Strawberry Foot Scrub Recipe

  • Three strawberries.
  • One tablespoon of salt or sugar, the bigger the granules, the tougher the scrub.
  • Two tablespoons of an oil of your choice – I like almond oil but you could use olive oil, bio-oil or whatever else you have handy.
  • Some newspaper to sit your feet on
  • A bucket or bowl of warm water to rinse it off.

Directions

Chop up the strawberries and put all the ingredients in a small bowl and mash them with the back of a spoon. Now scrub your feet for 2 minutes each and leave the scrub on for another five to ten minutes. Then just wash it off and smell your feet if you’re really flexible or just look at them and sigh if you’re not.
