No Bake Easter Donuts

April 16, 2019

We love all the gorgeous donut creations that are floating around Pinterest right now, but seriously, who has the time to make donuts from scratch? Food bloggers, that’s who!

So for everyone else, I have come up with a simple little hack and we think you’re going to really like it. No-bake Easter donuts.

*A huge amounts of donuts were harmed eaten in the making of this recipe.

Start Out With Your Stuff

We (being the kids and I) were going for a woodland theme (because Easter is coming up but bears are too cute not to include) so we grabbed as many natural looking coloured lollies as possible. And speckled eggs because. SPECKLED EGGS! The white chocolate melts and confetti sprinkles turned out to be the handiest – oh, and we glued them all together with honey.

For the nests: We simply cut a hole in the donut and filled them with eggs. Simple right?

For the bunny: We cut some liquorice straps for whiskers, white choc melts + edible confetti for the eyes. Her ears are made out of cardboard.

For the bear: We just used white chocolate melts and confetti pieces. Then we looked at him with heart eyes. Isn’t he adorable?

And for the owl: We used white chocolate melts + confetti pieces for the eyes and cut slithered almonds for the ears and beak.

Check out my other Easter-related content here.
