A Winter bedroom wishlist – mint, black and wood.

June 25, 2014

Dreaming of some new pretties for the bedroom, winter is the time for nesting.

Beautiful bedroom items from Down That Little Lane

Oh how I love you winter, you are by far my favourite. Once upon a time you were all about snowboarding, beers, road trips, freezing caravans, hoodies and late night shenanigans.

Now you are about nesting, nanna blankets, tea, boots, crusty bread, red wine and open fires. But still hoodies, always hoodies. One day you will be about snowboarding again, just not for the next few years. I'm officially to old to drink beer when I'm cold though. That ship has sailed.

It's out first winter in our little patchwork house and I am dreaming of a bedroom makeover, the cot, overflowing wardrobe and mattress on the floor are not quite doing it for me right now. I took a wander through Down That Little Lane in my PJ's the other night, cup of tea in my hand, fingers primed for pinning (how I do all my shopping now) and created my dream bedroom wishlist. It is my usual style – a tiny bit of soft mixed with some monochrome, natural textures and retro.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven.
