Free printable Aussie Christmas Cards – super simple and easily customisable.
Two things: One, I'm trying to explain what Christmas is all about to Scout, but when you're not religious at all it can be a bit tricky. No sweetie it's not just about presents and Santa… but then I get a bit stuck.
The reality is that Christmas to me means beer and mangos, sun-kissed skin and late sunsets, burning your feet on the hot ground and eating ice cream. Spending time with people you love, wearing new clothes (is that weird) and feeling so full you need a snooze. And I'm thinking that that's an ok message to share with my kids.
And two; I'm pretty terrible at sending Christmas cards but this year I am making the effort. As usual I tried to find some that I liked but couldn't (fussy much) but instead of the process ending there (like usual) I made up some super simple printables and thought I would share them with you.
How to make them
Here is the PDF for the Printable Aussie Christmas Cards – I bought a packet of blank cards from K-mart and popped them in the printer. You should just be able to open the file and press PRINT, then change your paper size to MANAGE CUSTOM SIZES and type in 21cm in 'width' and 14.8cm in 'height'. Please let me know if i doesn't work and I will tweak a few things.
If you want to also make this Merry Christmas Bunting Printable make sure to grab another pack of cards while you're there. It all matches this matching wrapping paper. Convenient much? I will be sharing a bunch of Christmas tutorials in the next few weeks so make sure you click here for a Patchwork Christmas.

I’ve always had a hard time explaining Christmas, especially when we decorate with snowflakes! I think preschool and school has helped me out a bit 🙂
