These five DIY projects made me want to break open the craft wardrobe and get busy. kidding – my supplies don’t fit in a wardrobe.
You may have noticed my lack of crafty goodness around here lately. Or maybe you haven’t – either way it’s winter’s fault. It’s just that winter makes me want to cook and drink tea and have long and blanket-ful Pinterest deep dives.
My hands feel dry and clumsy, the lure of cuddles from my little people are too tempting and my brain gets a little foggy; I get an idea, start to plan it and then see something shiny, or warm. Ya know. Stuff.
Anyway, my Pinterest boards are waiting there patiently, full of crafty goodness and these five projects made me want to break open the craft wardrobe (kidding – my supplies don’t fit in a wardrobe) and get busy. I don’t know what’s more alarming, the fact that I have every single thing you need to make all of these projects in my house right now or that I haven’t used any of it in over a month.
One: This whale stamped fabric by Casey is an old DIY but one that I absolutely love. If you haven’t noticed I have a bit of a thing for stamps and stamped fabric.
Two: A knitted and knotted necklace by Ella – her blog is amazing by the way.
Three: I need to make this bow garland by Lizzy but in black – obvs.
Four: Free printable pineapple wrapping paper by Alicia which I will be printing out this afternoon.
Five: This DIY cactus pillow by Emily caught me eye for some strange and unimaginable reason.
