Moving house

See this calm. Let's pretend that the rest of my house looks like this right now. We moved this weekend and holy crap-balls it was full on. I will be back blogging asap but for now I'm not even sure where my laptop cable is.
A few things I learned this weekend.
1) Pulling up carpets is never simple but it's totally worth it.
2) Sanding floors is really bloody messy.
3) Cleaning sux.
4) Parents are the best.
Living in our own home is lovely and we can't wait to get onto the reno train. Even though everyone tells us it's the opposite of fun. I know what I'm doing,  I have watched The Block, I'm basically a professional.
There should be lots of DIY's coming up and lots of before and afters. Can't wait!! For now just give me a few days to cuddle my kids and walk around with a cup of tea in my hand, stopping to look at random spots then saying, "babe…doncha think…"
I will be posting our progress under the hashtag #littlepatchworkhouse on Instagram.

We had grand plans to renovate our house, we bought it almost 4 years & have hardly done anything. I love The Block & get super inspired every time i watch it but since we’re broke nothing gets done. I’m looking forward to your posts for reno ideas 🙂

God sanding floors totally sucks I agree – I just love your dĂ©cor! We just survived a kitchen partial ‘reno’ – what saved my sanity was a sink in our garage and lots and lots of paper plates, and the outside grill.

Interesting blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my blog jump out. Please let me know where you got your theme. Thank you
