Nutella Filled Donut Holes – in a cake pop maker

June 16, 2015

I’m so sorry, but I found a way to turn condensed milk and flour into a super easy donut holes recipe, I even made them in a cake pop maker. Oh, and also, I filled them with Nutella. Sorry again.

Nutella filled donut holes recipe - using a cake pop machine

Hello bloggy people,

Man I have been busy lately! Seriously, so so so busy but I am back and I really wanted to share this recipe that I made for our Craft Party.

I had seen around the inter-traps that you can make donut holes with an electric cake pop machine but I was a bit dubious. It kinda seemed too good to be actually true.

Donuts or doughnuts are hard (they even have two different spelling options – talk about high maintenance) there is usually yeast involved and a lot of chance of disaster. But not these ones, they have only four ingredients (apart from Nutella and cinnamon sugar. Ok, they have six ingredients. So that is kind of a lot.

But they are not hard at all. And they are filled with Nutella, so yeah. Nutella. Click here to like us on Facebook Nutella filled donut holes recipe - using a cake pop machine

Ingredients

One cup of flour
2/3 of a cup of sweetened condensed milk
50gms of melted butter
Half a teaspoon of bicarbonate soda

A jar of Nutella
Some cinnamon and sugar mix.

Directions

Mix the flour and bicarb in a medium sized bowl, now add the condensed milk and stir until combined. Next add the melted butter (you're going to have to stir for a while so it combines) and spoon the mixture into a cake pop maker. Seriously, that's it! Until the next bit.

Now fill a piping bag or a baking syringe full of Nutella and inject those little puppies. The last step is the most re-donk, roll them in the cinnamon sugar, if it isn't sticking just give them a quick dip in melted butter first. If you don't have a cake pop maker, you can use a donut pan in the oven but they are on sale everywhere, I got mine for $10 at Big W.

Oh also, do a test one before you spoon it all in, if it doesn't cook-up smooth just add a dash of milk to the mixture. And also, also, they are best eaten hot as they harden up after a few hours.
