Seven oversized cardis that are basically just dressing gowns you can wear to school drop off

June 24, 2019

It’s a good time to be alive, clothing has NEVER been more comfortable (with the exception of toga-times) and I am here for it.

When I look around at the mums during drop off, I can’t help but feel like there’s a silent revolution happening right now alongside the actual one. Women’s fashion is in line with the cultural narrative, it’s yelling, “ok world, we are done with your shit”- comfort is king.

I do realise that this is more to do with ‘mum style’ than ‘all style’, but I can only speak on what I see on the daily. Activewear, sneakers, stretchy droppies, relaxed tees, and of course; the dressing gowns of drop-off… the oversized cardi. The butt-covering, cozy inducing, gown of motherhood.

Here are seven of my fave oversized cardis, some are fancy as hell, others are Kmart. #balanceDecjuba Bella Stitch Detail Cardi
