Today I opened an email and cried big tears. The content was pure magic.
We live a really lucky life. This bloggy caper brings our little family so many great opportunities and I hope I never stop being grateful for them. This weekend we were invited to go along to A Pop Of Love pop-up photography session in Sydney and I just HAD to share the pics with you guys. Also, how amazing are their new Milk and Masuki threads! You can get them here or here.
Disclaimer: We were gifted the photoshoot. All opinions are my own, all photos are AMAZING!
They are so special, when I opened up the gallery I cried. Not like a snort-cry. One of the good ones, the type of tears that pour from your eyes and onto a smile. I just couldn't believe how perfectly they had captured both my lovelies.
Getting a beautiful photoshoot done of the kids is one of my bucket-list things for the year, ok maybe that's the wrong phrase – not planning to go anywhere just yet FYI. But along with running 5kms without stopping (I am at 4 right now) and a few business goals that I have smashed; professionally capturing the kids exactly as they are right now was something that I really wanted to get done before the year ended.
But I'm not just telling you this to rub it in, this is a once a month thing that happens in Sydney and you can buy tickets for their next pop up (Dec 5th) here.
The basic concept is – take a prestigiously trained, big hearted, talented beyond crazy photographer and combine her with a creative, fun loving events planner, blogger and stylist. Combine their minds and you get A Pop Of Love Photography.
Once a month they host a modern children's portraiture pop up event. For one very reasonable flat payment you get snacks, a fun photoshoot and within two weeks; a web gallery of your images.
Yup, no seeing beautiful images and only being able to choose one. And no having to buy crazy expensive prints.
Now I'm going to go ahead and use the C-word. Sorry, I waited this long and I have to do it. All pictures from the Dec pop up will be with you in time to give to the grandparents for Christmas.
Thank you Amelia and Sandra – these images are pure magic.
