Champagne and Pomegranate Cocktail Recipe

December 20, 2018

Champagne and pomegranate cocktail - by Patchwork Cactus Blog

So it looks like Chrissy Day is going to be a stinker! And there’s nothing worse than a warm glass of bubbles, don’t worry – I have your back. Introducing my champagne and pomegranate cocktail.

The other day I was creating some Christmas Cooking Hacks and I found out that you can make champagne ice cubes. Actually, correction… I did not experiment with actual ‘Champagne’, that would be crazy. I experimented with something more akin to Passion Pop, but we’ll just gloss over that one.

Not only does bubbly freeze pretty well, but you can add pomegranate to the tray to make very fresh and fancy champagne cocktails. Or frozen-fruity-fun-cubes as I have just decided to name them.

It’s a nice bit of festiveness for your glass that really doesn’t influence the flavour that much (until the crunch at the end.) AND you can keep your drink cool without watering it down. Because putting ice in bubbles is just wrong. Don’t do it. Unless the ice is made out of bubbles, then it’s ok.

I’m not going to insert a recipe card in this post, you’re smart people. Besides, I have two very excited kids to take for Santa pics, and some cheap “champagne” to drink.

Just follow the pics below. champagne and pomegranate cocktail
