I first made these super cute DIY pet rocks for an Easter project I was doing with Westfield, but since then we actually haven’t stopped making them so I thought you guys may like to check out the process.
They are the perfect crafty activity for a quiet afternoon (or when stuck indoors in the rain like this weekend) and kids of basically any age can join in.
We are planning on making them in lieu of lolly bags for the next kid’s party we have, I am so over all the plastic waste that comes with those things.

DIY Pet Rocks – Directions
First thing, head out and find all of your materials. When I’m deciding on what sort of rocks to make, I like to choose colours first and then choose materials to suit. For this one I went with all pastels but you can do whatever you want. Obviously.
I went with felt, paint, googly eyes and confetti (as well as the glue of course.)
Then all you have to do is make a cuppa and set the kids up near a nice sunny window (so you can take adorable pictures of them) and enjoy some craft love.
My kids are obsessed with creating scavenger hunts with random toys, now they have DIY pet rocks to do it with.

I do lots of crafty tutorials for different websites so keep an eye on my Instagram for more ideas.
