We planted Frangipani seeds a few weeks ago, hubby said that it seemed like the sort of thing you should do outside. But I was in the process of cooking dinner and the mozzies were out. That what this room is for anyway, it’s their workspace.

The entire process is typical of a Montessori child, I’m going to let the pictures speak for themselves here, but this is what can happen when you provide your little one with a Prepared Environment and some gentle encouragement.

Let kids make mess, let them get dirty, teach them how to look after their environment.

Ahh this is so something I need to learn and let go of. I hear myself saying “you’re making a mess, no!” to Olivia too often and I know I don’t want to say it even when I’m saying it lol.

Gorgeous! Lovely photos – also admire you letting her just go for it and not worrying about mess etc.

YES! Kids are learning by making a mess… they are gaining important problem solving skills and the messier it is, the more involved kids seem to be! Thanks for sharing such a lovely blog.
