Threads – Toddler Wrangling

July 11, 2014

Yup, I’m doing outfit posts too now, mostly so I can show off these rad pictures I just got! xox Babs

Patchwork Style - Blogger headshot - patchworkcactus blog

Well hi, welcome to my first ever outfit post. I have always loved fashion and have been thinking about starting outfit posts around here for a while. But, you know…all the excuses.

When I got these great pictures back from the Blogger Headshot Workshop the first thing I thought was; how cool are Pete and Lisa from And A Day Photography for creating such fun images. The next was; how awesome is Jaclyn from Blog Society for thinking up and creating all these rad events, and then finally I thought; woot, here is my first outfit post. (I may or may not have also thought, holy shit, look at my grey streak)

This is a pretty typical everyday outfit for me, it's bend, crouch, tug, run and climb proof. All of the necessities for not flashing your lady lumps when dealing with toddlers.

T-shirt Hubble + Duke, Pants Lululemon, Cardi is ancient but find similar at Jollychic, shoes are also ancient but these Converse are similar (and on my wishlist), tank dress (layered) Kmart, Gel Nailpolish is c/o Sensationail.

p.s do you think Pete and Lisa (who just got engaged – congrats!!!) will photograph all of my outfit posts from now on?

The workshop was so good! Yummy food, fun photographers and lots of cool people to meet. It was really casual with lots of really cheesy music.

I have been hiding from the camera since the kids were born so I there are no pictures of me lately..at all. Plus I missed the vivid event so I promised myself I would go to the next one no matter what. I’m so glad I did. xox
