Threads – Zoo Stay Style

September 10, 2014

An outfit, fit for a Zoofari at Taronga Western Plains Zoo.

Threads - Zoo Stay Style

We have basically circumnavigated NSW in the past five days. Ok, that’s kinda an overexaggeration but we did go on a fairly involved road-trip which I will be blogging about some time later this week. First I just wanted to share a little sneak peek of our Zoofari accommodation at the Taronga Western Plains Zoo (Dubbo) in the form of an outfit post. The door that you see above opens to a veranda that overlooks a field full of giraffes, zebras, buffalo and a few stray kangaroos. It is a bit mental how awesome that little hut was.

This outfit makes me feel like a big kid, the over-sized pants, the simple tee and the lolly shop necklace all give me the urge to climb trees and get dirty; a perfect mood for a zoo visit. Oh and sneakers, always sneakers. Props to the hubby for taking pics of me! Now that he has the hang of it I see many more outfit posts in my future. Yay-zers!

It was so good! I am trying to get through the millions of pictures I took of it and somehow narrow them down. It’s so hard!

I like to represent the coasty designers! your boys are the perfect age for the Zoofari, you get to feed giraffes and see wild dogs up close. It’s so cool!

I love how you can make Kmart shoes look cool & those pants look so comfy. I have a boxy necklace & I gave one to my mum & sister, I feel i need to have a collection of them & I need to buy one for Mia to stop her from stealing mine!

Thanks, I’m just keeping it real! I used to worry about buying Kmart because of the whole sweatshop thing but lately it has come out that it’s not actually always the cheaper brands who are producing in horrible conditions.
